Why do you play music?

I play music for the crowd's reaction and hopefuly they dig what Im(or we) are doing.
What do you enjoy about it?

That is what i enjoy about it, the only thing, not for the groupies or to get rock star head, just for that one person to go damn that was cool.
What difficulties have you experienced as a band?

getting crowds to come out to shows in rochester is really hard to do unless your omniblank or a cover band, and that makes it really hard to get respect from club owners to book your band.
Is it important to you that your band-mates are friends?

yes, it is very important 'cuz you guys should be in it for the long haul and if you can't get along now, how will you get along when other issues come along like money(real money) and women, those two things will break a band up quick as shit.
How important is it to you to be successful?

it depends on the level of success, I would like to be able to tour and play venues the size of waterstreet music hall but all over the country and sell it out every time.
How do you feel about any type of drugs?

hey, if i don't want to do something, then once i make it clear that i dont want it, dont push me on the issue, ill do my thing, and you do yours you know what i mean? I won't look down on you if you do, but don't look down on me if i don't.

What is your philosophical take on music?

music should be enjoyable. if you like political music, people that are talking about racism or other current topics, listen to it, if just like to party with people talking about bitches and money, then listen to that. you have the choice, make them good ones.
What effect do you think music has on people?

music just like a really good movie,it can effect your mood, and sometimes even your outlook on things you might not have even contiplated before.
Where do you see the future of music?

i hope the future of hip hop takes a turn for the more substantioal content with in it's lyrical base, but as long as record com. sees that this is making money, it will be this way till it doesn't. and that is the future of all music, what ever is making money at the time.

What do you think about the music industry?

the music industry is a pimp, and every musician is it's whore.
Are all artists treated fairly?

not even close. most big labels won't even look at you unless you can 1000's of c.d.s at your own shows. now, if you can sell that many c.d.s at your own shows, what do you really need the label for???
What do think of money in the industry?

when (if) i make some of it, ill let you know.
Where do you see the future of the music industry?

like i already said, it will be where the money is.
How could the industry be improved?

if i could answer that, i'd own my own label, but they could start by looking other places for talent besides ny,la, and austin tx.
How would you implement this improvement?

give me a label and ill show you. i would make rochester into austin tx, i would turn it into a music mecca.not over night, but that is my ultimate goal any way.

What is your opinion on recording technologies used in association with
music?

recording is decent, even if you don't have the money, any shmuck can burn a c.d. of their music these days. now napster and morpheus, and grokster, these "file sharing" places, right now i don't have a problem with, but if i was a national artist, id not like it I won't lie,let's say I just spent a year in the studio comming up with my new albulm, and now im into the record company for about 2.5 million(us), i need to sell a certain number of copies depending on my contract to pay the company back the advance on my release before i see any profit. so unless i go platinum(1000000 copies sold, im in the shitter.) I could sell triple platinum and still only make 40,000 dollars, and it has happend, ask T.L.C.

all the time. and the media doesn't even get thier story straight half the time. i hate to be cliche, but don't believe every thing you read,hear,or see.

i coverd this, but i will say that im torn about mp3's since as a d.j., they come in real handy.

You must support your local musicain, these people are paying rent at practice spaces, annoying some one's mom and dad in thier basement, just to make a song for you to hear.
